Lunch & Learn: Working on Your Business
Thursday, July 30, 2026 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)
Description

As a business owner, you wear a lot of hats. Every day brings new challenges—employee issues, customer demands, operational fires, and an endless list of decisions. It's no wonder many owners feel like they're working harder than ever while still struggling to gain the traction, accountability, and clarity they want in their business.
The reality is that most owners spend so much time working in their business that they rarely have the opportunity to work on it.
In this engaging and practical session, you'll learn why that matters more than ever. With one of the largest transfers of business ownership and leadership in history underway, only a small percentage of privately held businesses are expected to successfully transition to the next generation of ownership. The businesses that thrive will be the ones whose owners create clarity, build stronger teams, and focus on what truly drives results.
You'll leave with simple, actionable tools you can put to work immediately, including:
- A guided strategic planning exercise built around 8 Simple Questions that can help clarify priorities and identify opportunities.
- A fresh framework for evaluating whether you have the right people in the right roles.
- A practical approach to identifying just 1–3 key performance indicators (KPIs) that can improve accountability, transparency, and execution across your organization.
Whether you're looking to grow, improve profitability, reduce frustration, or build a business that's prepared for the future, this session will provide practical insights you can start using the very next day.
