Build Her Dreams 2025: A Women in Construction Bed Build Event

Description

To celebrate National Professional Women in Building Week and National Workforce Development Month, the NRVHBA is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for children in need and promote construction career awareness for women in the residential building industry. Young women and girls will have the opportunity to use multiple different tools, have hands on experience, and hear from women in the industry about careers in construction. 

To support as a business or industry member, we are looking for sponsors and volunteers to participate!

  • To Sponsor a Bed ($250 per bed) - Use the sponsor link on this page on the right. Our goal is to build 40 beds!
  • To Sponsor the Event - we are also looking for other sponsors to help us with this event. Check out available opportunities using the sponsor link on the right or reach out to us for more details!

Youth Participants!

We are looking for girls ages 10-17 to help us with this event! You will have the opportunity to learn about possible career paths in the construction industry from women in those roles. At the same time, you will be providing a community service by building beds for children in need. Each youth participant will receive a swag bag for participating!
