Girl Scout Registration is HERE.

Build, create, and discover! Join the New River Home Builders Association Women in Building Committee for The House That She Built Girl Scout Construction Day, a free, hands-on experience for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts (grades 2–5). 

Inspired by The House That She Built story, girls will explore a variety of careers in residential construction through engaging, interactive activities led by women working in the building industry. Participants will rotate through interactive career stations—including Architect, Framer, Interior Designer, Electrician, Plumber, and more—while completing a Career Passport and working together on a collaborative building challenge. Along the way, they'll meet real women in the skilled trades, explore tools and techniques, and discover how teamwork and creativity come together to build a home. 

Lunch, all activity materials, a special event patch, and a certificate for each girl are included. 


Location

Christiansburg, Virginia. The location will be shared after registration is complete.

This event is FREE. Registration is for Brownies and Juniors (Ages 2nd-5th Grade).
